I consider this photo a collaboration between me and my boyfriend– he snapped the shot using my camera (with a 55-200mm lens) and I cropped/edited the photo. I like how he accidentally captured the cyclist in front of the house, which is so funky looking.

To me, the best part about this photograph is the giant shadow being cast by the Golden Gate Bridge. It really helps put everything into scale.

As I’ve said previously, I love how colorful everything in Chinatown is and this building facade, contrasted with the red lanterns, really stuck out to me.
